Hi there
I am on my on section of on-again/off-again of getting the MT EX 24 with the MPE. I think I have finally cleared off some time to actually practice with them.

I am still interested in getting some sort of device to raise the flash heads on the mt ex 24
and the main one I remember is the Kaiser

but I was wondering if there were others in the same weight class which could also be useful or more useful? Would a small mini/micro ball head offer something similar?

any advice - both positive and negative recommendations (and links) would be very welcome and appreciated.

have a great day

I think you'll need Kaiser flash shoe only if you intend to use concave diffusers like SteB1's here: http://www.flickr.com …9uN1-7QTngf-fsHt4W-7UdFPe (external link)

I have been using my MT24 without any additional flash shoe since March 2010 and don't see the need for Kaiser flash shoe.

However, if you're really looking for one, there's another brand by the name of Hama.
