Nov 10, 2013 10:13 | #3 I may be headed up to your neck of the woods this next summer, want to go to North Dakota to photograph Baird's Sparrow and Chestnut-collared Longspurs on breeding grounds and then to Duluth area for Great Gray Owl and Spruce Grouse.

We have buttloads of Lincoln's in winter. I am teaching a sparrow workshop for Texas Ornithological Society in December. I love sparrows. Enjoy your shots, maybe we could meet and shoot if I make it that far north! Sure thing; keep in touch. You might want to research a zoologist in S. Dakota named Doug Buri; I know that he teaches workshops on both sparrows and shorebirds and he might be able to give you some valuable information on finding your target species. Al
