What and how old is your oldest EF mount lens?

Same here, 50mm f1.8 from 1986 (February)......great find for $20 since they normally go for more then a brand new 50mm f1.8 mk2

feb. 1986? i hadn't seen anything before december...i thought december was the only month in 86 that they were made, since the camera was introduced in 87

3 of my 5 lenses are old,
1988, 50mm mark i, bought off ebay in film camera section, super cheap way to get one
1988, 28-70 3.5, sharper than any zoom with af, but 24-70 ii and 28-70 2.8
1989, 70-210 3.5 probably will sell, but its an amazing lens from 70-150, also usm, i know it focuses faster than any 70-200, its a great lens but went full frame and got a 70-300 usm is which is a clunker compared to the 210, but has is and another 100mm.
* should also note, i shoot a 5d classic

50 1.8 mki like everyone else. UC date code, not entirely sure how old that is but I do know it's older than i am.

UC = 1988. I had a cheap 70-210 f/4 with an UC date code. It was a very good lens for $100

1992 28-70 2.8L love this lens

Oldest EF lenses I have are the 50 1.4 and 70-200 2.8L, both of which I got in 2000.

The 70-200 is definitely not a lens I use all the time but it delivers what I need when I use it. I'm sorta done with my particular 1.4 (taken apart multiple times, flaky AF) and I'd rather just replace it with a new one whenever someone releases something worth getting.

Certainly not the oldest lenses I have, but the oldest that I might regularly use.

There's a 90mm macro Vivtar that my dad has I want to say the date code was 77 i've borrowed a time or two.

28-105 that I bought with the A2e body in 96. Currently on loan to my little sister.

Thats 10 years before the EF mount was even introduced. So probably using an FD to EF mount adapter. Not a true EF mount

I still have my 35-70mm that I purchased new in July, 1987, along with the new EOS 620. Never use either, but I won't get rid of them.

I got the EF35-70 a little later with an EOS630. I still have the body as well...
