For CF I use transcend 400x 32gb and they are relatively cheap compare to the major brands. What is the equivalent in the SD card world? It will be used for a 6d and a 5d3 for recording hd videos (1080 24fps). Hoping to spend about $20 for a 32gb or 35 for a 64gb.

Hi Kenwood, transcend (and other off brands) have many inexpensive options in the SD card world.

I would recommend considering a quality brand such as sandisk for more reliability, specially if you plan on charging clients for your work. The quality control and therefore fail rate is much higher on off brand cards. regardless of which brand you use, I would still also use the redundant card slot as backup.
