Here are a couple of shots from earlier this month - shot with 2 speedlights (one flagged for white wall and wrap bounce and the other one in a plastic self made 18" BD).
Your CC is appreciated!

Nicely done. Particularly impressed with the output on the DIY beauty dish!

Great lighting.
Personally, I might try and desaturate the reds from her skin - especially in the first picture.

Hockey and wedding photographer. Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.

Thanks guys.

This is the tutorial i had followed - and was able to make one in under 2 hours, including cutting and paint drying time:
http://davidtejada.blogspot.com …auty-dish-for-sb-800.html (external link)

I used this 18" bowl from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com …_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (external link)

I later also bought a similar 22 inch bowl from Amazon but havent yet made a BD out of it yet - soon
http://www.amazon.com …_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (external link)

I will try to post one or two behind the scene images tomorrow.

hope this helps.
Sanjay
