Tried to get as close as I could and to get as much detail as possible.

Great shots. I love the number 1. The blurred out birds in the background gives depth to the picture.

Why is everyone attracted to the eyes?:lol: What do you suppose Mother Nature had in mind; scare off predators, enhance their vision somehow?? For those of you old enuf-remember the "Halolight" feature on the old Sylvania Tvs? Sort of the the same idea. Great shots, Scrub.

Awesome closeup shots, Scrub! I had a pelican closeup in a thread I had posted a while ago from India... slightly different species from yours.
