So I did something but my first and most used box containing exposure, contrast, highlight, shadows etc is gone. And no it's not shrunken. I know how to open and close the boxes under it. Help. I'm going crazy.

Right-click on where it says Library and where Develop should be. There should be check boxes to click on. That's if the entire Develop module isn't showing. If the Develop module is there, what you're looking for is under the Basic heading right under the Adjustment brush...expand that arrow.

It's the arrow under the adjustment brush that appears to be missing.

Right click on the header of a panel in the develop module( those down the righthand side) to activate/deactivate those panels you wish to use.

As DW says, go into Develop then point to the panel on the right. Right click on any of the heading that are showing and a menu will appear with the Basic controls unticked. Just tick it and it will reappear.

Right click on any of the headers under the Crop - Spot Removal - Adj Brush panel and you will get this menu. Just make sure that the panels you want to use are checked.

It seems to be a minor bug that has been asked about a dozen or more times on the LR community forum that somehow the Basic entry on the panels list gets unchecked. Easy enough to remedy if you are experienced in LR, but a real puzzler for others.

Interesting, but fortunately here we have collected quite a group of LR users over the years who can chime in! Remember the "old days"?

That was exactly the answer. Just had time to do it.

Again, thanks all. What a great, helpful place this is. I'd be lost without it.

Sorry to hear that. My LR5 is messy.

I'm missing the filmstrip. Appears when cursor placed on it. Want it back.

Most important, I just lost a pic. Was playing with the presets. Wanted to revert back so hit cmd z multiple times and the pic disappeared. Help.
