Thanks to all.
Skip and boboy, I agree it could use a little cropping in number three to really do the photo right. At this point they were just batched as is in order to send them to the website. I know, I should take good care of all the images, but sometimes you just dont feel like editing that many individual photos. Were I doing it for a print or for a publication, etc, I would crop it down a bit and bring it tighter, as I probably would have for a couple of the others as well.
Mark, some of the shots have excessive panning blur and lose some sharpness in the car, though all of them have at least some portion of the car sharp. Daytona is such a horribly ugly backdrop for shots and has no elevation changes or pretty backgrounds that I was trying different things to really make the most of what was available. Many of the pans are in the 1/80 and many are even down to 1/40 shutter speeds in order to completely blow out the background and try to make the cars look fast. The result is some parts of the car not perfectly sharp due to the 3 dimensional movements of the cars There isnt a right answer, its just what folks like, for me it was what I was after as pans in the 1/160-1/125 area just didnt give me a good feel about the photos most of the time.
Thanks for the comments.
