What camera is your most used for sports photos? Interested in your current use and not what you have used in the past.
You can choose more than one.

An interesting question. Perhaps it would be better asked in Discuss Sports Photography rather than in the Photo Sharing section.

If the moderator can switch it that's fine.

I've used my 5D3 about 80% of the time this year for Sports.

I've used the 1D4 the other 20%, including last night for Volleyball... the 1D4 AF locks in a lot faster for volleyball, but the 5D3 holds it's own in everything else and I really like the cleaner images and the overall FF look.

Generally speaking, no. Not that it can't be used. But there are much better tools for the job.

I use my 1D Mark IV 80% of the time, 7D 20% of the time I'd say. I generally carry both bodies while shooting.

I have been using a 1DIV but tomorrow I will use my new, used 1DX for the first time for football and basketball. Busy and fun day to come.

I would have included 1D mk II & n. It is still a very capable body.

I have got to the stage where I use the 5D with the 300mm and 1.4 Extender and the 7D with the 70-200 at Field Hockey matches and am able to cover a lot of the action both near and far. Using only one camera limits me. Means carrying a bit more kit around but I am happy to do it!

What surprised me in the poll was that the 5D Mark III was #2
