It was raining outside this past week-end so I went to the autoshow. Lots of cars, but nothing all to special to see. I took a bunch of shots, here are a couple. I have a liking to Audi's... so I did spend a little extra time at their showcase. I was shooting with my EF17-35 f/2.8L.

Nice car - and good use of the WA -although it looks a bit crooked, horizon-wise.

What's that "flap" just below the headlights for?

The small trapezoidal shape below the headlights are headlight washers. There's a pump behind there and the squirters come out of the bumper and wash the headlights.

Yeah... I wasn't paying all too much attention when I shot the 2nd photo. These were taken with my 1D MkI

:D Probably a $1,000 option? Thanks.

The GT40 is up there on top of dreamy classic mountain alright. As arty as the 930 and 67 Vette any day on my reckoning.
