For me Elinchrom has until March to make some major updates. After that i'm making the switch...

I've got a lead on something that might just qualify as a major update for Elinchrom. Need to get all the pieces in order and do some testing, but I'm VERY excited about the prospect. :)

If it all pans out, I'll post a write up with details in a couple weeks.

That's right, Sheldon! Spill it or I'll ban you for causing undue and unnecessary pain and suffering to forum members.

All in due time, all in due time. I wouldn't want to mislead anyone if it turns out not to work right. :)

So, why do I get this funny feeling that whatever it is that you're keeping hushed up for now really isn't coming from Elinchrom?

Yeah, that's what gave me that funny feeling...the word "for" instead of "from".

I am absolutely so p*ssed with these pieces of crap. It's unbelievable that a company can produce a light that is as nice as the Elinchrom's are, but offer and absolutely cheap piece of sh*t for a transmitter.

Today I had both of my transmitters go intermittent because of the hot shoe contact. They trigger just fine with the test button, but you've got to wiggle, contort, semi-tighten, wish, pray, beg, make sacrifices to the Elinchrom god for the m*th*r f***ers to work consistently, and even then they give me the finger.

I have no problems with any other triggers or flashes in the hot shoe, and I'm talking getting the same problems with 3 different bodies.

Time to start using my Yongnuo triggers.

Elinchrom can kiss my a**.

This is my favorite post from you, ever.

Oooh! Just what I've been waiting form. Can't wait to get my hands on it to add some color to my dull lighting system. :D
