My 50mm has stopped focussing

any ideas?

tried wiggling it when attaching to clean the contacts, tried jiggling the af/M setting on the lens, it hasn't been dropped, brit has been attached to a whatchermecallitt, close up thingy, not a TC just the Canon 12mm spacing thingy whoojamaflip, for a month approx, sitting in the bag ( rarely use this lens)

is it Mr Repairsville or is there some trick I need to try

:)

This lens is actually known for this problem unfortunately, and you're going to have to send it in for repairs. It will likely cost around $150.

yes I think so -so rather than spending out on it, considering how little I use it I might just leave it
