The joy of a paper drop is that you can destroy it, then unroll some more and have another go. Muslin is more durable, but if you have to wash it very often it can lose its color a bit. If you have space to leave it up, a muslin can be nice, but if you have to take it down and store it then wrinkles can be an issue.
