I just bought this http://www.bhphotovideo.com …wood_Black_Century_C.html (external link) and was loving it until I put the grip head and the screw's system, the one that attaches to the C-Stand has a grinding end. I don't know how to explain it exactly but it eats away the C-Stand, not to mention the paint. Is that the way those work? I've never seen a screw that does that to lock onto anything, they all have a flat end head.

Screw on the grip head of Matthews C-Stands

Well I found the answer, for any of you that have or will get a Matthews C-Stand, those are shipped with the serrated T-Handle (Part #63302) which is a 5/16". If you want to replace it with a plain one, you'll need the T-Handle that came with the C-Stands until 2009 (Part #63301) after 2010 the T-Handles that come with the C-Stand are 3/8.

I was wondering about the serrated screw and I found this... the serrated end is useful to get more bite on things, so if it's the top knob in a Junior Stand, or if it's a knob on a grip item, you probably would prefer this Serrated T-Handle.

I hope this helps somebody down the road.
