Shooting this game was HORRIFIC!!!
Nice mild weather, about 68 degrees.....
Then during halftime, a HUGE fog bank bank rolled in. You could hardly see from one end zone to the other. By the time the beginning of the 4th quarter started you couldn't see more than 50 yards. Shooting from the sidelines, you could hardly see the visitor's side grandstand, and literally COULD NOT see anyone past the 10th row or so... It was like they disappeared in the fog. Every five minutes or so, my camera was full of condensation, looked like someone poured a glass of water on my camera and lens. The glass was fine though, never fogged up once. Just the outside..... The more I wipped, the more it kept coming back. There wasn't a single pass thrown during the late 3rd quarter or whole 4th quarter..... couldn't see the ball.

Please excuse the look of the images, had to post process the hell out of them just to get them to look decent.....

Those are some tough conditions, Mark!

Ours were much better in Forney although we had 20-25 mph winds which killed John Tyler's passing game (https://photography-on-the.net …/showthread.php?t=1342858)(4A, D1). Next up is Legacy vs. N. McKinney on Friday in weather that is forecasted to be rainy and cooooollllllddddd.

What's up next for you?

Crosby -vs- Elgin @ Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas / Friday @7:30pm (both are my Alma Mater - Crosby & SHSU)
North Shore -vs- Hightower @ Abshier Stadium in Deer Park, Texas / Saturday @ 1:00pm

I'll be renting the 400 f/2.8 for the weekend

Looks like 80% Rain on Friday and 60% on Saturday….. But hey, it's Texas Weather! Forecast literally changes on a daily basis.
