Been experimenting with different techniques again!

I would love to hear your thoughts on this one, 37 small JPEG shots stitched with MS ICE and final edit in LR5. (Canon 600D, 17-55mm f/2.8)

Looks good, though I'm not sure the scene really necessitates the brenizer method.

Thanks David - It was a bit of an ongoing experiment to see if I can achieve decent Brenizer with my lens and crop sensor combinations... but you are probably right. Although with my gear, (possibly read skill or lack of!) I couldn't get that shot in one with the level of bokeh and focus.

Cheers,

Rob

**Edit - and I've just noticed the bad stitch on the starboard engine, totally missed that up to now! <sigh>**

I really like it. The Brenizer method gave you a much smaller depth of field than you would have normally gotten with your crop camera, and the composition is good. Contrary to my normal tastes, the sepia tone works with this image, in my opinion.

nitpick but you can see lines of misalignment on and below the engine on the left of the photo.

Yes, well spotted Martin - I noticed it just after I posted, (and mention it in post 4 above)... Oh well, a good excuse to try again!

Cheers,

Rob
