I'm not too sure this topic will be popular, since I figure most of you out there avoid your chores and instead go out and take pictures. Despite that, bring your camera (No, a camera does not qualify as a tool in this specific challenge.) and toolbox together and have some imaginative fun.


Do not forget to include the photograph's name in the message subject line of your post.

This challenge begins when posted, and will end at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time Monday, November 25, 2013. Winner of this challenge will be announced shortly thereafter.

Standard Rules apply:
Photo Submissions:

1. Camera - Any Canon DSLR Camera
2. Time - any on-topic photo taken at any time is eligible, although photos that have won other competitions should NOT be entered.
3. Size - Please visit Image Posting Rules.
4. Post-Processing - do whatever you like and the host will decide if it works.
5. Posting - * ONE PHOTO per photographer in each challenge.* Photo Name in the message subject line.* Camera model & lens used.* Notes -- post brief EXIF data including ISO, shutter speed and aperture used.
6. Commenting - No commenting during challenge. When the posting is closed and a winner has been declared, comments can be made in this thread.
7. Keep it clean, and both Family and Work safe.
8. Have questions, PM me.
9. Have FUN!

One challenge every week, on the following schedule:

Ooh, I just had a new workbench built and just finished hanging all my tools on the peg board this past weekend. Time to get creative with the "other tools" to come up with something interesting.

I'm going to give the nod to Maureen for her rather unusual collection of tools there.

T3, your entry was awesome, but I felt it didn't quite fit the topic here. Don't get me wrong, it's very dramatic, but it ain't screaming tools to me.

Teekay, your entry was the warmest to what I was expecting to see. I think a tighter crop, showing a jumble of shapes and colors would have sold me.

Thanks you three for participating. I have to admit, I'm disappointed with the turnout on such an easy topic as this.

Sorry, Kevan, I was really lazy and I didn't take much time with my shot at all. Just went down to he basement and took a quick snap of a tool shelf to pad out your challenge at the last minute as it deserved more entries. What I posted is already a close crop of this full shot.

My picture was taken in Williamsburg, Va at one of the jails. I loved the keys hanging nearby but only took one quick shot. Skip was using his power tools outside last week but I had the flu & couldn't even hold up the camera so I had to resort to the archives; thankfully today I am back up on my feet. I will have a new challenge up later.
