sliceotime Senior Member More info | Nov 20, 2013 15:51 | #2 I picked up this lens earlier in the year when Adorama had it for sale on their Ebay site for $400. It's a good lens, sharp wide open, fast very accurate autofocus and produces nice images. I can get hand held shots as low as 1/2 seconds. It's a great lens for shooting a small group of people. The build quality is nice also. -Slice

How does the 28mm f/2.8 work wide open? Do you have to ratchet it up to the f/3.x range to bring it out of it's shell? Gear | T3i | 24-105L | 28 f1.8 | 70-300IS | 430EX II |
