I prefer using a card reader. They're available for around $20 and a pc running xp will simply recognize the card reader as another hard drive. You can then just drag and drop using windows explorer, or use zoombrowser to download the card. If your Brother MFC is a usb printer with built-in card slots, then windows should just treat it as a generic card reader. Try opening "my computer" and see if windows is recognizing your card reader, if it is, you should be able to double click on the drive and view your files, if you can, then at least you know that the card isn't corrupted and it is likely some setting within zoombrowser that needs changing. I personally don't use zoombrowser,so I can't help with that.
