Depth of field is too shallow; with the focus on the horses head the boy is OOF. I like the angle and POV. I see in the EXIF that you already shot at ISO 3200 - may be F/8 and ISO6400 or otherwise back off a bit or zoom out and crop later to get the required DOF.

Even with shallow DOF this is a great shot. I'm sure the boy will love it.
