I don't own it (yet) but I really think you should consider the Sigma 35 Art. One of my favorite threads (60D lovers and random o BS) has a photographer and I am always amazed by the crisp photos he gets with it. I checked the Sigma 35 thread and its not just him. 35 on a crop is very close to equivalent to a 50 FF.

60D tok 11-16, sig 17-50, canon 24-105L,100-400 IS L, celestron 5SE
