It seems to take longer each year to lay out the brag book. Finding the balance between the style of image, the page payouts, colours to match the images etc etc and then finally putting the whole thing together.

The week turn around between each proofing run probably makes it seem longer than it actually is.

While the final (I hope the final !) version is at the printers, I'd appreciate any CC

A few sample pages ... Cheers Dave

Looking pretty good from here. Out of interest how long, how many pages etc? I am interested as I am thinking of doing the same thing right about now. Would also be interested where you plan on getting it done too as I'm a fellow UK guy.

Essentially when I get face to face with a prospective client I need to be able to show them what I do. I've tried ipad presentations and web galleries, but there is always the question of the client having to do something that requires their attention.

A book is something we all understand. Its operation requires no thought and so the conversation isn't interrupted.

Length 32 pages - Loxley Colour produce it. I tried a few years blurb etc a few years back but the printing process is lower quality than I'd expected.

I can agree with your physical book comments. There is nothing better I think than looking through a high quality printed book to make your senses pay attention to the quality of the photography.

I shall have a look at Loxley to see what they can do. Thanks.

Man, I love the old VW's. I have a weakness for them. I have my 65 Mustang and I told my wife I would trade it in a heartbeat for an oval window.

Clients love brag books. It creates a sense of the product being finished, that can't happen on the screen. I like your choice of shots, I'm sure it will look fantastic on a glossy page!
