Baby (8 weeks)

Eight weeks old; more awake and definitely learned a lot in the whole process today. I'm looking to change the setup a bit. C&C welcome

Is it just me or do these look a little odd because of the angles? Like #1 should be portrait?

I agree. I've never understood when people rotate infant portraits like this. Other than it's orientation, I really like the first one. The second one I don't like the lavender used because it's reflecting off of the baby's skin affecting her skin tone and turning it lavender too.

Ya after shooting several I realized after that it looked odd. This was probably the first eight week old I had. Still have lots to practice I also didn't have a wider area to shoot so ended up sticking to 50mm on my cropped which made things even more awkward.

Thank you for the C&C as it helps a lot! I have a newborn next month so will have to work on this a little better.

And my wife later was like "that band looks totally 80's without a flower" lol...and I agree.
