This is a place that I'd not heard of before and I stumbled upon it a few months ago while canvassing the state of New Mexico for old ghost towns.

When I found it, it was a no-moon night, so I knew that it would not yield much so I passed it and filed it away in my head to return on a moon-lit night. Last weekend, I finally made a return trip into southern New Mexico, and decided to shoot here. Really glad I did, as this place is very cool, and you can essentially just drive right up and shoot. Even camp here, which is great.

Beautiful shots, very otherworldly! Great work with these very clear shots.

I've been all over NM but somehow I guess I missed this place....definitely on my list for next time.

This is one of my favorite places to boulder. It is very easy to miss since it sits in a hole and you can't actually see it until you are very close. There are a lot of choices to photograph there. THe back road out of there along the river is very nice also.

Good work, Todd. It is a neat place, but I haven't been there since 1995, need to go back.

Wonderful shots! I haven't been to NM but what a great location to discover. Those evening pictures are especially cool.

Oh no... these were all shot at 3am or later... so 25 sec exposures pretty much. I had a near full moon, so it really helped, and in some cases, turned night into day.

Nice. Reminding me how cool long moon light shots can be. Thanks.
