Hi all!
I am curious whether anyone actually uses the pre-sets in RSE or PS. Specifically, I wonder about the Flat/Indoors(normal,medium,...)/outdoors(..) in RSE, and AutoLevels or AutoContrast in PS.
I have a "pressed for time"- workflow (for RAW):
1. Use RSE for WB. Try the different flat/indoors/outdoors and select the "best" one. Convert to tiff.
2. Use PS for cropping. Then try AutoLevels. If that messes up my colors (as it often does), go for AutoContrast instead. Apply one-pass-only USM with small radius and great amount for images rich in details (like nature shots), and larger radius but lesser amount for images with less details (like portraits).
All DONE!
The entire procedure takes only a couple of minutes and gives me pretty good results. At least the totally blow away my in-camera processed jpegs. I am curious to hear your comments about it and if you could tell me obviouls mistakes or the things I do that could easily be done better.
Thanks for a wonderful forum!
