Interesting processing. as stupot asked, an idea of the guidelines for the contest would help.
If I had to choose simply on which shot I like best (in general) I would have to go for the 4th (man looking at woman). To enhance this shot, I would see if you could bring some detail out in the shadows of his face.
Oh, welcome to the forum.

I don't care for the first one. Just not a lot to it.

The second is something of a curate's egg... I adore the left border (the wall), but the pipe on the right in the extreme foreground takes away from the shot.

I like #3 very much. It has a stark simplicity about it that I find satisfying.

#4 is the real keeper here. It could be helped by better cropping, but the subject(s) here are terrific. Great contrast between the man's expression and the look of sheer obliviousness on the woman's.

Not crazy about 5. Just doesn't click with me.

6 is pretty nice - looks like it could've been taken at a beach in the 1950s, save for the shorts on the man on the waterline 25 yards or so from the photographer. This and the last picture are tilted badly.

#7 is very reminiscent of the cover to Bob Dylan's album, "Under the Red Sky".

#1 is an interesting abstract

#2 the human figure gives it scale. That's good. Otherwise, has too little interest.

#3 has a noticeable tilt downward to the left which is rather bothersome - otherwise, interesting.

#4 is very interesting and has acceptable exposure. I would crop away the un-necessary portion at the left, focusing on the two main characters.

#5 the highlights are completely blown out and the shodows are without detail. Unacceptable on that basis. Also, too commonplace.

#6 is good composition and good exposure, but too commonplace.

#7 is very much tilted down at the left, but I don't like that image anyway. She is looking/walking out of the picture instead of into the picture.

In my opinion, only images #1 and 4 have any potential.

Very nice collection!

thanks for your comments, it was very helpful.
in fact there's no subject for the contest, i'm trying to tell a story throughout the photographs, but i have to select. so here is my first work to select before doing the work of linking the photographs with a common theme. They are all taken in Morocco, the country where i was born, so i want to take the people to a trip inside this country.

here are some other shots waiting for your critiques :)

On some shots there is a problem with the image being not level. On each shot that it is not level, it is tilting down to the left. You will be able to rotate them in Photoshop quite easily.

All of your shots are scanned film - yes?

In the last group of images, #1 and #6 are not level. That is, the horizon is not straight. The picture should be rotated a little bit in the clockwise direction.

I do not understand the word "revealed" - do you mean "printed"?

Anyway, it does not matter, I am only curious.
