This pic is from last night with 300mm tele, the tail is almost two degrees long now and it should get brighter and bigger as the comet soars closer to the Sun. Jan 01, 2014 13:37 | #5  Now the comet can be seen in the morning sky, just below Hercules. I've seen reports of the tail bein up to 20 degrees long, when imaged below dark skies...  This was the cloud situation just before the first image. Not so optimal, but there haven't been many clear night in the last month or so. my flickr
