What are your favorite lenses? You use or ones you wish to use?

Mine was the sigma 35 art lens and hopefully my 24-70 mk II tomorrow!

The two I currently have are my two favorite. I'm looking to add a third. Just cant make a decision on what that third one should be. :) There could be a new favorite out there that I don't even know about yet.

I'm loving my primes, the 35mm f/2 IS and the 85mm f/1.8.

So let me get this straight...you are starting a thread inquiring as to what fellow photographers' favorite lenses might be. At the same time you offer that the sigma 35 art used to be you favorite, although it is not listed in your "gear list". Then you indicate the 24-70 mk II will hopefully be your new favorite, albeit it is listed for sale in your signature as of two days ago?? Finally, when you look at your gear list/feedback link, you say "for sale--->Nadda" and the subsequent link to FB is a dud?? I think you need to do some re-thinking with regards to your post and maybe update your signature!! ;)

you don't treat your favorite lenses very well...sigma 35mm sold...canon 24-70mm sold before you even get it :)

also a little pro tip, when trying to sell a lens for a small profit, wait until after the deal that you purchased it from is over...otherwise people will just purchase from the same deal you did :)

as for favorite lenses, i'm typically really wide, or really long...so my sigma's...10-20mm, and 150-500mm

Do you tell your favorite lenses "it's not you it's me" before you stuff them into a dark box and toss them in the mail?

My favorite is my 70-200 f/2.8 L IS II. Period.
A close second is the 70-200 f/4 L IS as I really appreciate the quality and when you just want to go light.

Probably my 70-200 II for "wow" factor and versatility. My 24-70 II as well.
