What are your favorite lenses?

Surprisingly, I'm not real happy with my 50 f/1.8. Absolutely hate the focus ring. I'm thinking of selling it and getting either a 1.4 or an older 1.8 with a real focus ring.

Not so surprising. I hated my 50 f/1.8. Sold it soon after getting it.

My favorite lens is 135 f/2! Its perfect for head shots and beauty shots! Love using it in the studio.

I love all the lenses in my kit, but if I had to pick a zoom & a prime then I'd say the 35L & 70-200 2.8. Neither of them ever disappoints...

I dont know that I have a favorite. They all serve a different purpose. Maybe 70-200 or the 100L

Tammy 70-200VC. Have a lot of work to in the lens department, next purchase will be either the Tokina 11-16 or Sigma 18-35 1.8. Based on what I currently own the Tammy is awesome..

Vivitar Series 1 28-105 and Vivitar Series 1 70-210 f/3.5. Smoother, better damped zoom and focus mechanisms than anything made today. I believe the versions I had were made by Tokina.

Look at the serial numbers, if they start with 37 they're Tokina made.

My favourite lenses are my Canon 85L II and my Leica 50mm Summilux ASPH.

Those are two lenses I will never sell

since I only have one that's worth a crap, it's my favorite. the 85 f1.8. and I do really like it. Wish I had something wider besides my kit lens at times, but I think i'm investing in flash before I invest in a fast wide angle. I'd rather spend more money on a lens with more reach since dog sports or sports in general is what i like to shoot most.

Hands down my favourite and best lens I have ever owned is the Sigma 18-35, so amazing and sharp.

I have owned the 18-55 kit, Tamron 70-300 and Sigma 17-50 f2.8 OS previously.

I don't mean to sound like an ass at all, but I could care less what lens is on. if i can get what I am looking to get for the shot, then that is it. Today I left my bag in the car and could have kicked myself for not having a ****ty cheap lens for the shot I saw in my head and couldn't get with the expensive one lens I brought....... Now that said, my 10-20 and 135 are more fun to shoot than my excellent lenses in between, so I agree with dre daze, super wide and kinda/super long mean most, anything in between screw spending money on

Mine would have to be the 40mm ƒ2.8, and then the 10-22mm.
