What are your favorite lenses?

I love all of my FF lenses, did tons of research before buying so am a happy teddybear..

My favourite lens is the one that best suits the subject matter (the image I'm trying to capture).

Lets introduce some of the poor people lenses

I see many 'L' quality photos but these two lenses seem to do alright for me on my T3.

Mine was my 24-70 f/2.8 MKII but since getting a 35mm f/2 IS a week ago this has become my fav.

I have and like both of those lenses on my 6D.

17 and 24 TS-E. They are incredible, especially the 24.

They Sigma 30mm 1.4 and 17-50 2.8 have always surprised me. They never disappoint and deliever every time I shoot! You usually have to get a good copy though for this to be said. My 30 has been back to Sigma in NY twice. Once for calibration and the second time for a noisey autofucus motor. The 17-50 out of the box was spot on though.

Of the lenses I've tried, I like my EF 50mm f/1.4 and EF 300mm f/4L IS best. I haven't had the opportunity to try many lenses, so your mileage may vary.

Depends what I'm doing. In the past few months, I've been lucky enough to attend an F1 race and vacation in Maui, along with chase around our 3 year old daughter. With my 6D or 7D in the case of the F1 race, there are 3 lenses which have given me "wow" shots in each of these scenarios, while being easy to handle and feeling solid enough to just use and not constantly worry about.

Maui- 17-40L
F1 Race- 400mm DO
Daughter- 50mm 1.2L

Ironically, the last lens I could ever see selling would be my 70-200 2.8 MKII...over the course of multiple years that's the lens which has delivered the best, and most consistent, results.

My go to lens for 75% of my shots is the 35L. I will be first on the list when they upgrade that one. Then I probably like my 17-40, and then my 70-200.

My 85mm f/1.2L II. It just brings a smile to my face every time I mount it on my 5D3 and then look at the results after shooting with it. A unique lens.
