Hello,

I just finished shooting a ballet recital and had the AI Servo Focus Lock enabled. This was the mode, that the camera will not trigger the shutter unless it got focus confirmation. It worked well in this situation.

Now for the life of me, I could not find in which menu item I enabled it as I need to disable it now for some other work (music recital with video).

Thanks.

I have all my bodies set for focus priority, I have no desire to capture OOF photos. If do decide OOF is better than nothing then all I need to do is lift my thumb off the AF-on button and the focus priority settings become irrelevant.

I found that release priority works very well with fast moving objects which moves direclty towards you.
With focus priority, camera keeps trying to lock over and over again, but the object itself could be out of focus already.

with release priority, you risk the object will be little bit OOF, but you can fire instantly with object in focus.

I have mine on focus too. Shooting children portraits I don't notice any delay.
