I used to wait and wait for these rose breasted grosbeaks in the spring. They were really fun to watch and photograph. These were taken at the exact same place (my ex-back yard) but what a difference in background and lighting a little time makes. I had two pieces of driftwood as perches that were quite different also and I think these were all taken on the same one but the 4th shot. Unfortunately, when I left Ohio for Tennessee I forgot them and left them behind. Hope you enjoy looking as much as I did taking.

Gorgeous shots of a very beautiful bird. I have them here all summer and I really enjoy seeing them when they return each year.
