You may or may not know, that the local council have, for some time now, been trying to get rid of the historic old Power Station...
They have managed to slap an earthquake risk on it to limit public access and it is now only accessible to members of a group who are fighting to save the building, and all the history inside (including both of the running 50 Ton British Polar Engines).
Should any photographers (amateur, pro or whatever) wish to join the group (for a small fee of $15) they can be granted access to the building, and hopefully get some great shots which they may share on this, and other, photo forums which will, hopefully, further advertise the need to keep this old building.
Couple of shots from inside...
