Um... the most common "wildlife" in my area are the illegals slipping across the border. I've HEARD that we have some black bears and the occasional mountain lion but I've never witnessed it personally. We do have LOTS of vultures and deer but the deer are ridiculously tiny and very unhealthy looking. I have taken pictures of the Crested Caracara in my area. Sadly, my 70-200 wasn't nearly enough to get any decent pictures of them but I did discover when I got home and downloaded the images that the Crested Caracara is pretty dang ugly.
