Replacement foot for Sigma 120-300 OS?

I own a Sigma 120-300 f/2.8 OS with 1.4 and 2.0 teleconverters and I recently bought a Jobu Jr 3 Deluxe gimball head for it, to use on my Gitzo GT3542LS. I have tried balancing it perfectly and it was near impossible to do this, a bit too far and it falls backwards, a bit too far the other way and it falls forwards. When looking sideways to the config, I see that the centre of the lens is a bit higher than the gimballhead, so I was thinking that a lower tripod foot would probably improve the situation.

I was looking for an Arca Swiss replacement foot for my 120-300, but couldn't find any. Doesn't it exist for Sigma lenses? Or maybe I'm just expecting too much and perfect balance is not achievable with a gimball other than the Wimberley...?

You might check with Kirk (external link) to see if they have anything planned for that lens.
It sounds like you might be looking for a height adjustable gimbal?

Kirk only has lensplates, no collar or replacement foot. I already checked RRS too. I chose the Jobu Jr 3 Deluxe because in reviews there is mentionned that it is enough for even a 500mm f/4 and it weighs half the weight of alternatives like the induro you suggest. I also just bought it, I am not looking forward to selling it again, unless it is really necessary.

Try tightening the friction knob a little - it may be enough to stop this without causing too much drag.
