I tried to use my Canon 50mm f/1.4 lens this weekend and the autofocus is not working. I remember reading somewhere that Canon charges a flat fee for repairing that specific lens; does anyone know the exact amount?

It's just that it commonly costs about $150-160 US to have the AF repaired on the 50/1.4, between the usual parts required and the amount of labor involved. Alan Myers

SInce I'd qualify easily, I'm thinking of signing up for CPS Gold membership and using the discount for the lens repairs and also take advantage of the complimentary maintenance for two of my 1D bodies.
