Quick edit of a few shots from last night, more to come. Worst lit venue ever, The Bottom Lounge in Chicago. ISO 5000 and still were dark. This was also my first live show/concert/event that I've shot.

I really like that first one. 3rd one is nice too, a bit grainy but with how bad the lighting was, it's a nice shot.

Love that band by the way! How'd you manage to get a pass from them? I've tried to contact them but they never got back to me. I'd love the chance to shoot one of their shows. Under Soil And Dirt is my jam.

I go to school at Columbia in Chicago and I was fortunate enough to meet a girl who shoots for live nation. She has connections at The House Of Blues and The Bottom Lounge and she was nice enough to get us passes for the show when I asked her a week ago!

Marry her. Marry her now. Haha that's awesome though! How are they live? In my experience some pop punk bands sound incredible...and others sound like they've never played together before lol. I'm still waiting patiently to get photo passes to a Wonder Years show and a Fireworks show. Here's hoping.

Parker is kind of a complete douche, so I'm not entirely surprised. Thinks he's better than everybody/gives off this feeling of self-entitlement. The rest of the band is cool as hell though.

Don't get me wrong, I love his band and his music, just think he's a crappy person lol.

My little brother has met him before and when I told him that I was going to shoot them he warned me that he was kinda a dick and I can see it now. They were awesome live though and even played an encore and the crowd loved the show too.

Nice shots considering the challenging circumstances!

Yeah, he's not the greatest guy but like you said, he and the rest of the band really know how to put on a show. I've enjoyed every show I've seen of theirs. Most singers seem to have a sort of god complex in my experience, some just show it more than others...and some are more justified than others haha.
