I loved Christmas when our sons were little kids. These days, I pretty much ignore the whole thing though I work for a .com company and we're working 6 12 hour shifts, then a day off... rinse and repeat. That factors in, I'm sure.

We are devoid of grandchildren at the moment. I'm sure things will change should one of them show up.

Yes it will. You will find yourself wondering why you didn't have them first.

I'm not a huge Dickens fan, but Christmas Carol really is a story for all of us.
It retells what I think many of us go through every season.

We do hate the marketing and build up, and some of us do get all Scroogey and really mean it, ...

....but the ice melts as soon as your in that twinkly tree light lit living room surrounded by people you love. You just can't stamp down that Christmas Spirit, even with your WalMart Black Friday Visio garbage 60" T.V. and "Ludicristmass" crappy rock carols playing, you still can't ruin Christmas!!!

Be careful there! People will begin to think you're really a nice guy underneath it all.

I was in Walmart today. They have two aisles of merry Christmas cards, but not one single Humbug card in the whole place! I cry foul! It's blatant discrimination!

Now where did I put my lawyer's number....

I wonder if a line of Merry Hallowthanksmasyear cards would sell?

I find myself agreeing with this sentiment more each passing year!
