Wright Walkers are wonderful, but I don't think they're being made any longer. Fortunately, I have two pair, and they do last. I switch them off with a pair of Rockport wingtips.

I wear Red Wing 606 boots for most of my photographic exploits (also for my day job and casual wear). Fantastic quality, made in the USA, and not prohibitively expensive. http://www.redwingshoes.com …ng-mens-6-inch-boot-brown (external link)

I'm also thinking about getting a pair of their oxfords for semi-dress use and weddings - they're much less expensive than Allen Edmonds and probably more comfortable as well.

Anyone know if there is a big different between the famous Ecco Helsinki (external link)and the Ecco New Jersey Bike Toe Loafers (external link)?

Report: After wearing Ecco Helsinki, I am not going back to anything else.
Thanks Nick and Eveyone for your recommendations!!!

Avoid Ecco

Last pair I had cracked down the middle on the balls of the feet. The company was difficult to deal with - took two months to get a replacement coupon.

I wear some Kenneth Cole Monkstrap Oxfords... not the most comfortable, and definitely not meant for braving the elements or climbing trees or any of the other stuff we're often asked to do.

I too wear express pants though I find the hems to be the weak part of the pant and often have to rehem them. Plus when bought on sale, they make an affordable option that I'm not too upset if I ruin, and I can use them for my M-F job

As the soles wore down on these, and with the season coming up I went to a DSW while killing time, found a pair of Cole Haans with Nike Air marked down from $201 to $57 out the door.

Win.

That's a steal. I will try the Nike Air on Cole Hanns when I find a great deal as well.

Was also educated that Cole Haan was sold off from Nike, so they're no longer called "Nike Air Cole Haans" but rather they will have Air in the "model name"

eg. Air Venetians

I wear Clarks Bendables. I can go 12 hours in them & my feet don't ache.

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

I do wear dr scholls during the reception and this last weekend rocked Jessica Simpson flats for the ceremony. My feet weren't in terrible shape the next day (long day 10 hours) I am looking into Clarks though

Took me two weddings to really break them in, but they are fantastic and look very professional.

Love my lunargrands!

Thanks Nick and Eveyone for your recommendations!!!

Clarks came up a few times in this thread so I thought I should give it a try. A deal show up and my Wife pick up a pair of Clarks Deane (external link) in brown for me to try out and it is amazing. It's even softer than the Ecco Helsinki. I still happy with Ecco Helsinki though. A black pair of Deane is on way, I am a happy camper :)

Thank you all for your recommendations!
