I like the color rendering of Zeiss Otus. Thinking of replacing my Zeiss Makro Planar f2 with this Otus... I think it's worth.

I've only had a short play, but I'm very much liking the Otus so far. I like it's B&W renderings.

Beautiful capture!

thank you agiaco, I really love this lens :)

I was wondering. I also have a 85mm, but I hardly use it because I prefer to work around to use this Otus (or 135mm on the other side).
Are there more Otus users who hardly use their 85mm lens?

I've just bought the Otus 55, so can't comment on it. I have an EF 85 f/1.2, along with the ZE 135, and haven 't used the 85 much since getting the 135. I do like the 85, though.

Honestly, I like the Otus 55mm so much, it takes a force of will just to switch out to a different lens. I'm not a portrait guy though, so I don't have a solid need for a dedicated 85mm prime.

I'm glad you guys like the 135mm ZE - it's a great lens, no doubt, but after getting the Otus 55mm, I had a hard time even using that one. So, I sold mine and just have the general purpose Canon 70-200mm II for the long stuff.

Same thing here David. The otus is just stunning. It blows away my sig 35mm and zeiss 85mm. I will probably sell them in time. I'll keep the 135, it's an otus in disguise and I love the colors and it's 'soul'.
