This seems to have a strong cyan colour cast and I see it quite often. Is that deliberate? Is it supposed to mimic some film quality? Hmmm no cyan cast here.. Just blues in the shadows. The mids are balanced and the highlights have some yellow for warmth... But no cyans. So I'm not really sure what you are talking about I'm afraid.. But thank you for commenting Reppin the 5D iii and 7D with some lenses and some lights

The way any of us process is determined, to a great extent, by the picture itself. And the picture itself is determined, for the most part, by the person shooting it. We all have different ideas about how to process any given image and it's usually very subjective and follows what was done to generate the image in the first place. A very good point, processing an image is just not using the same mechanics, the end result reflects the photogs interpretation and their mood/ability.
