Thanks.

I can't remember if that's King Sejong or Admiral Yi on the front.

I've got a 1 Won piece sitting around here somewhere. They're TINY, probably a little smaller than an American $0.10 piece. If I come across it, I'll shoot a few of it.

Nicely done.

I recently reconfigured my PVC light tent.

I took it apart and put in shorter horizontal members to make it smaller. That made the available light sources (100W CFLs in articulated arm lamps) MUCH more effective. I also bought new CFLs that I KNEW were daylight balanced, plus I used a custom white balance for the first time. I replaced the white plastic garbage bags I was draping over the frame with a couple of thin white hand towels that I bought at a local craft store. I was looking for loose white muslin material, didn't find any, but found the towels instead. The results are GREATLY improved.

Lighting seems to be the biggest stumbling block for me when it comes to tabletop/macro photography, but I'm learning.

My next step is better presentation. I'll probably invest in a small pack of modeling clay, since I recently learned that wax or clay is what a lot of product and jewelry photographers use to pose subjects. This subject was actually propped up on one of my previous subjects, a base for a telescopic rifle sight. The coin kept slipping off of it, but I finally managed to get it to stay in place long enough for those shots.
