What is the distraction in this photo

What in this picture draws your attention the most?

Bow, bad hair, missing teeth, in that order.

... and Santa is missing his hat.

It is the huge bow.

The hairstyle is strange, but at least there is one. As far as teeth go, that is how kids look and it can have its charm.

I ask my daughter to close her mouth for photos because her teeth need a bit of work and they are not missing. I hope that doesn't make me a mean mom.

...well, Santa is missing his entire arm camera-left, but, hey...

Fake window in the background and horrible wall color.

Thanks S.Horton, I would rather see her big smile instead of a frown because she was self-conscious about her missing teeth.

Me eye just keeps going straight to the window frame, it grabs my attention more than anything else. The red bow is also an attention getter taking the eye away from the face.

I don't have any problem with the teeth, that is just the character of a child of that age and doesn't look wrong in any way.

who has bad hair the girl or santa,u obviously dont have kids,my daugter is the same age and her front teeth are out as well,its normal,this is just what the world needs a bunch of self concious kids because they have missing teeth,and for the record the girls hairstyle is just fine,mine wears hers very similar,pretty ignorant comment and short with no reasoning why,,,,in that order..

oh and i think the photo is very nice,the santa looks a little out of focus to me but still a nice memory

Yeah, you're right if you're talking about how you feel about your assumptions about me.

The biggest thing that jumps out at me is the impression that Santa is really Mrs. Claus. Not sure why, but "he" seem too feminine. Otherwise, the dark window is problematic.
