Just a few from the backyard including the maligned starling who are actually a pretty bird when they mind their manners. I attracked them to the perch by putting out a large hunk of fat I obtained from the butcher. Funny, they were always thick in the neighborhood but never really bothered to visit my yard much until I put out the fat. Then they showed up but not in large numbers. Once the fat was gone (and I was through getting the pics I wanted) they just disappeared again from my yard.
