Caught the snow being blown around the forest while I was out hiking with my wife and two dogs. Taken with a Canon 7d and 70-200/2.8.

Hope you enjoy it! Would love to hear your thoughts.

Very good. I love the contrastiness.

Great shot and B&W really makes it pop! We don't have any snow yet, but I am sure it will be here soon. I love to hike in the winter, especially right after a fresh snow. Love the cold crisp air, the beauty of the new snow, everyone else thinks I'm nuts... Oh well, they don't know what they are missing.

Beautiful capture. I am drawn to these sorts of images, I think partially because I know I wouldn't want to be out in the cold long enough to capture something of the like myself.

Thanks! I always say that if it's going to be cold, it might as well snow! :)

Well said! I love hiking in fresh snow, especially when it's still sticking to the tree limbs.

Odd but interesting. Thanks.

The photo itself is odd or the way the snow is being blown around is odd?

I like it. The blowing snow definitely makes what would otherwise be just a snapshot picture into a very interesting picture. Nicely done.
