I picked up a 60D from best buy and with a purchase of a camera you got $300 off the 70-300f/4-5.6 IS USM lens, bringing the price down to $260-360 (depending if in store or online purchase). Canon is also offering a $200 mail in rebate on the lens when you purchase from an authorized vendor. Best Buy is on this list. Does this mean I can get this lense for $60-$160? Or will Canon not honor this rebate due to Best Buy taking $300 off already?

You should get both. This happens frequently. For example, B&H was recently discounting the 70-200 and Canon was paying the rebate.

What happens with Canon rebate if you buy a Camera and lens in a kit, and the lens is a rebate lens?

"I still bought the lens?" Would be my argument, unless that's denied in the rebate rules - which it probably is ...

24-105 seems to be a heavily rebated lens this season - wonder if 24-105 II is coming out soon.

Thanks. I called canon rebates today and they said I was still eligible.

:) for getting a 70-300 IS for $149.
