I am after a flash head to start to learn the art of studio flash I have done a little bit, I have a couple of well used intermit ext150's, but they really have seen better days, I am after just one head to start with as to not over complicate things, I am torn between 3. I have a 580exii that I can bring into it if I want to.

I am only looking at inside portraits, so Im thinking the ones I have narrowed it down to have enough power, I am open to other suggestions aswell, I would like to build up with modifiers etc over time, so would like something that has options for this,

My choices are

http://www.wexphotographic.com …-gemini-400-head/p1029930 (external link)

http://www.wexphotographic.com …d-lite-4-rx-head/p1533302 (external link)

I did look at the 500w versions of bowens and elinchrom, but would these be overkill?

I am in the uk, I would rather buy new,

All help, comments and views appreciated :)

6d, 70d, 70-300L, [COLOR="Black"]100L Macro, 40mm 2.8 STM, 580exii, 430ex and still NO idea
