I'm looking for a decent microphone since I'm using a 5$ external microphone I bought on amazon when I was searching through this forum about 1 year ago. My budget is around 75-100$. I'm planning to use this microphone to record automotive tutorial videos on YouTube. Anyone have any suggestions for better sound quality? Thanks.

Wow, never seen that one before. Must be a newer model. Rode usually makes pretty decent products for the price, the Rode VideoMic was the "standard" for a long time. No idea on this one though.

Rode has always been my "go to" for video work. I've used the Video Mic for several web based projects, and I have a NTG-2 for short film work. They have great quality products for a fair price. There is a lav mic setup they have out, I'm very curious about. Mic wires to an iPhone and recording software resides on that.
I would def give any Rode product a spin from my experiences.

Yes this was a recently added product to provide another price point. I have not seen a review of it as of yet. You may want to google and see if any decent website/blog/forum has done a review.

I've been thinking about getting that one, really like that it doesn't require a battery.
