I only have two lenses, a 28-105mm and a 50mm 1.8 and eventually want a 28mm 1.8 and I hardly ever need to zoom much. I was taking a look at B&H's bundles and my jaw dropped at the price of the bundle. Since I don't have too many pieces of glass I was thinking about it, how's the IQ compared to the 28-105 I have? Is it worth the extra cash?

If you're going to buy glass, there's no better time than with a body in a bundle. The 24-105 is much better than the 28-105. The lens by itself is $1149.00 (external link). The body is $3399 (external link), so the bundle for $3999 (external link) adds an extra $600 as you pointed out... looks like an almost 50% discount there. I try to buy an extra lens with any body I buy because if it's not for me, I can sell it for just about what I paid for it.

you'll enjoy the 24-105 with the 6D. The kit is a bit of a savings, although you can often find the lens separated from the kit for just a bit more, the lens may list at $1149 but it can be had in the $700 range.
