I got to my studio and one of my transceivers wasn't working so I was stuck shooting with a single Einstein through a beauty dish and I'm content with the results! This is only my third time shooting in a studio and with strobes.

I audibly said 'ug' when I saw the "in studio" part. I was expecting some 2014 block letters (white of course) or some sweet backdrops.

Pleasantly surprised, though! This is how senior pictures should be done.

Thanks! As a kid who graduated from high school this year, 2013, I know what kind of photos kids my age want hahaha. The letterman's jacket over the shoulder and huge "2013" in the corner was not the kind of photo I was going to shoot :-P

It was very fitting for him because I know him personally and he has a high fashion style so he loved that it looked like that. Thanks!

Pretty good job on them.

I just got my first pair of glasses that I didn't think I needed. I apologize to anybody in the past year that I said their pictures were out of focus lol.

One of your transceivers wasn't working, did you have an optical slave on the other flash(s)? Just curious.

I have three cactus V5 transceivers but now only two are working so I was only able to shoot with one strobe instead of two.

But why didn't you use the optical slaves on the the strobe without the receiver?

Either way.. These images are fantastic
